Please like, add, follow, share, comment, post, tweet and twerk this

Let’s all be honest. On Facebook we have all liked some great causes and we have put a like in for something ridiculous and random. I took note the other day in a business meeting to make sure I got onto my Facebook and like “Mad Men” and “Captain Planet”. I ask of you all please friends, family, colleagues, clients, enemies, fellow entrepreneurs, bloggers, loggers, lumberjacks, artists, copywriters, soldiers, poets, doctors, lawyers, business executives and everyone else I have on my social network. Please share, like, link, post, review, visit and simply give this page some love. It would really mean a lot to me. Thank you all in advance.

Yours truly,

Dan Dan, The Ad Man

It is quite strange to me that I am so effected by someones death I did not know personally. But after the last few days contemplating the fact that this has effected me so deeply I have come to the conclusion that this is a man who was always there for me. When I was a child you showed me adventure and wonder in movies such as #Aladdin & #BaronMunchhausen. You helped me cope with my parents divorce in #MrsDoubtfire. You taught me it was okay and completely normal to love a man or a woman in #TheBirdcage. You were kind, funny, accepting, hilarious, joyous and a gift to everyone you ever blessed with your presence in this world. I am happy only because I was lucky enough to have seen you perform and to have grown up with your hilarious antics. You are the reason I pursue my dreams as a stand up comedian. You were truly an inspiration to me and so many others who just wanted to make people laugh. But most of all I am at peace knowing that whatever caused such hurt & pain to your mind has now passed and it is over. Goodbye my mentor, my idol and my childhood friend. You will be sorely missed by us all.

I think the saddest people always try their hardest to make people happy

because they know what it’s like to feel absolutely worthless

and they don’t want anyone else to feel like that.

My wife made breakfast this morning. My first thought of course is “Thank you” but then I quickly retract to the question “What did you do and how bad was it?… I took a picture so my mother in law will know I am not lying :-P
